Suhayla el Bashira, our workshop co-ordinator, has devised a thought-provoking and fascinating workshop around the theme of the Holocaust for secondary schools, aimed at bringing the teaching of the Holocaust up to date. The aim is to make the subject relevant for young people who are now several generations away from the events of the 1940's, and who probably have had little personal contact with survivors. This is done through making comparisons with our current refugee crisis in an engaging and informative way that has brought universal praise from schools who have already taken part.
