A Month of Sundays
2006
sees the launch of A Month of Sundays, an explosion of new plays!
A month long event for new plays, created from a year-round programme
of staged rehearsed readings at 8 theatres around the
whole South East region, in total holding 24 'club night' type events
a year.
The productions developed through the rehearsed readings would focus attention
on the South East as a place where homegrown drama is
given a significant profile.
The
venue for the first Month of Sundays will be The Nightingale
in Brighton in March 2007, where 3 of the best new plays will each run
for a week. One of these will then tour to our partner theatres.
