Beyond Care
A collaboration between Theatre and Beyond and Hampshire County Council Social Services. The project will take 20 young people in care and give them the opportunity to work with writer Fin Kennedy and director Anita Parry to develop an original piece of work which they will perform themselves at the Tower Theatre, Winchester on Saturday April 23rd.
Theatre and
Beyond will also provide a set, lighting and sound designer to mentor
the young people in the creation of their production.
Fin's first play Protection was produced at Soho Theatre
in autumn 2003 and concerns the relationship between a group of social
workers and their teenage clients.
We are grateful for funding for this project from the Local Network Fund
and Positive Partnerships.
