Chef de Partie
by Mark Wheatley

A co-commission with Made in Brighton Ltd, this touching and funny new play is being developed for production in 2006/7. Set in a restaurant in Brighton, the play is about the relationship between three generations of men, and how history repeats itself.

The first reading of the play was in March 2005 at Soho Theatre (the play was then known as "Love , Leaving and How to Cook for your Father") and a full rehearsed reading was performed as part of the Peggy Ramsay Award evening at the Minerva Theatre in June last year. Chef de Partie will be read in its' new version at The Playwriting Party at the Gardner Arts Centre
in May.
