What
Became of the Witch?
Developed out of the Maidstone TAB Lab in 2002.
Loosely based on the Brothers' Grimm fairy tale Rapunzel,
an old lady believed to be 200 years old waits in a tower for her
prince to come. The entire town skyline is obscured by her long matted
hair and the local council have come to demolish the tower as an environmental
health hazard.
The show toured to theatres Autumn 2003.

A workshop programme exploring ageing and body image in the 21st century accompanied the show. This was made possible by the generous assistance of a Pulse Award from The Wellcome Trust.
